Q: Tell us about yourself and your experience with animals?
A: I have worked with animals in one way or another for over 30 years. After college, I worked in a zoo for several years, and then fulfilled my childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. I have been a small animal practitioner since graduation.
Q: What is a fun fact about yourself?
A: I fill my creative needs as a fused glass artist.
Q: What do you love about World Vets?
A: I am impressed with how we volunteers with differing backgrounds and skills are able to come together to form an efficient team. I also appreciate how the World Vets organization is so meticulous in their arrangements of the trips.
Q: What motivates you to volunteer with World Vets?
A: My trips have been a fantastic opportunity to utilize my veterinary skills and make an impact on a community in need. The exhilaration at the end of a day of hard work is such a powerful thing!
Q: What was your favorite World Vets moment?
A: There is no one moment, but the look in the grateful owners` eyes as I hand back their beloved pet is heart-warming.
