Q:  Tell us about yourself and your experience with animals?

A: I have worked with animals in one way or another for over 30 years. After college, I worked in a zoo for several years, and then fulfilled my childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. I have been a small animal practitioner since graduation.

Q:  What is a fun fact about yourself?

A:  I fill my creative needs as a fused glass artist.

Q:  What do you love about World Vets?

A: I am impressed with how we volunteers with differing backgrounds and skills are able to come together to form an efficient team. I also appreciate how the World Vets organization is so meticulous in their arrangements of the trips.

Q:  What motivates you to volunteer with World Vets?

A:  My trips have been a fantastic opportunity to utilize my veterinary skills and make an impact on a community in need. The exhilaration at the end of a day of hard work is such a powerful thing!

Q:  What was your favorite World Vets moment?

A:  There is no one moment, but the look in the grateful owners` eyes as I hand back their beloved pet is heart-warming.

World Vets simply could not operate without our amazing volunteers and cannot thank them enough.  Click here to join the World Vets volunteer team!
