Q:  Tell us about yourself and your experience with animals?

A:  Of course I am an animal lover and have had a variety of animals including horses, goats, rabbits, birds, fish….a veritable menagerie of critters.  I have worked in the veterinary field since being a volunteer during high school and really could never imagine doing anything else.

Q:  What is a fun fact about yourself?

A:  I used to show horses, English Jumpers.  I enjoy raising poultry (chickens and turkey).  I am an avid gardener and love music of all kinds.

Q:  What do you love about World Vets?

A:  I love that World Vets is such a good example of such a tiny seed of an idea that has blossomed into such an incredibly beneficial program.

Q:  What motivates you to volunteer with World Vets?

A:  For me, World Vets has checked all the boxes: caring for animals, travel with purpose, making new friends, and being of service to others.

Q:  What was your favorite World Vets moment?

A:  For one project I brought down saddle pads for the cart horses.  I think my favorite moment was seeing the smiles on the children’s faces as they rode away on their new pads, faces just beaming.

World Vets simply could not operate without our amazing volunteers and cannot thank them enough.  Click here to join the World Vets volunteer team!
