Health Requirements
Prospective team members must satisfy the following health criteria:
- Be in good physical condition
- Have no known serious and/or life threatening health conditions (i.e. heart issues)
- Have no prosthetic
- Not be pregnant
Once selected, team members may also have to receive certain vaccinations (if they are not already vaccinated for them) as well as take precautionary malaria medication (if applicable).
Please note: In some cases, prospective team members may need to provide a physician`s letter of good health
Documentation Requirements
Applicants who are selected to be part of World Vets team will be required to submit certain documentation per the US Navy requirements of NGO volunteers for the mission. Below we outline some of these things:
- Copy of a valid passport and drivers license (or other form of government issued photo ID)
- Copy of degree and license to practice veterinary medicine (veterinarians)
- Copy of additional credentials and/or certificate(s) of specialization and/or specialized training
- Copy of degree and license to operate as veterinary technician (licensed technicians)
- Copy of immunization record (if applicable)
- Embarkation forms (if applicable)
- Personal information (i.e. mailing address, phone number, etc)
