Q: Tell us about yourself and your experience with animals?
A: After finishing University, I opened a commercial dog walking and cat sitting company. To keep my clients` pets safe I trained in pet first aid. This eventually led me to my passion as an educator and Administrator of Walks `N` Wags Pet First Aid.
Q: What is a fun fact about yourself?
A: I think I am part dog. I have to stop and greet every dog that I see on the street. Sometimes I talk to humans too!
Q: What do you love about World Vets?
A: I love World Vets because the organization is supportive, organized and has an excellent grouping of staff and volunteers.
Q: What motivates you to volunteer with World Vets?
A: Volunteering with World Vets has allowed me to experience life in different cultures and see the impact our clinics can have on communities we touch. I have also made lifelong friends in the process.
Q: What was your favorite World Vets moment?
A: My favorite moment was on my 2nd World Vets trip to Colombia. A local volunteer worked side by side with me for one of the clinic days. That day she adopted a homeless puppy. She named the puppy Lisa, after me! I couldn`t have been more honored.
