Now Hiring: Office & Volunteer Coordinator

World Vets operates with a small, dedicated staff and a large volunteer base. The World Vets Headquarters in Fargo is the hub of all planning, distribution and logistical operations for the organizations’ programs worldwide. Each year, approximately 500-600 veterinarians, veterinary technicians, veterinary students and other volunteers travel abroad to volunteer on World Vets international veterinary aid programs. Volunteers are recruited primarily online and through our extensive volunteer database.

The Office and Volunteer Coordinator will be the main point of administrative contact for World Vets volunteers relating to membership status, volunteer kits, payment of fees, maintaining records on flight schedules, responding to travel or volunteer-related inquiries etc.  The candidate will also be an important part of a dynamic team that is helping to bring about major advancements in the level of veterinary medicine available in developing countries and helping animals during disasters.

World Vets is seeking an innovative, entrepreneurial, philanthropic leader who will set, guide and implement the strategy for all communications, public relations, marketing, and fundraising for the organization. In short, we are looking to fill the position of Development and Communications Manager.
