World Vets launches NEW GIFT SHOP

By choosing a gift for a friend, family member or loved one from the newly launched World Vets GIFT SHOP, you are making an impact that transforms the lives of many animals and pet owners worldwide.  Not only does your gift provide veterinary funding in under-developed countries around the world, but it also helps to provide training, instruction in proper animal handling and care, and relief for animals during natural disasters.  Your gift enables our volunteers to invest their time and skills where it is needed the most, and relationships are built that lead to long term partnerships and provision of veterinary aid.

You can also preview some new merchandise that will be available very soon.  Check it out and give the gift that keeps on giving.

Do you want to be qualified to help animals in a disaster?

With super storm Sandy passing through regions of the US and Canada,it is a great reminder of the danger that weather and disasters pose to not only humans and property, but to our furry friends. We encourage those living in disaster prone areas to consider our technical animal rescue course as a preparatory measure they can take in order to help animals in their community during such events. No previous experience is required.

A World Vets Team Returns from Zanzibar

World Vets recently had an all female team that traveled to Zanzibar, Tanzania. Working with Zanzibar Animals Affection Society (ZAASO) they provided a 3 day island – wide spay neuter campaign. Services were provided outside of Stone Town, to the north in Nungwi and in the eastern town of Paje. They even squeezed in some time to treat donkeys! We’d like to thank these wonder women, ZAASO and Fondation Brigitte Bardot for making this campaign possible.
