Q:  Tell us about yourself and your experience with animals?

A:  I grew up on a sheep and cattle farm in Australia and have always been around animals.  I had horses, dogs, pigs, chickens, geese, ducks, sheep and cattle on our farm.  I worked as a vet nurse while studying and now work in all aspects of veterinary practice.  I`ve worked in emergency and critical care, mixed practice, equine and small animal hospitals – guess I love a bit of everything!

Q:  What is a fun fact about yourself?

A:  I am completely addicted to surfing, but suck at it!

Q:  What do you love about World Vets?

A:  The challenge of taking my veterinary skills into different cultures to try to make a difference.

Q:  What motivates you to volunteer with World Vets?

A:  The idea that there is something more to life than going through the motions of the daily rat race!

Q:  What was your favorite World Vets moment?

A: Teaching people Australian slang and getting laughed at because of the way I talk!

World Vets simply could not operate without our amazing volunteers and cannot thank them enough.  Click here to join the World Vets volunteer team!
