World Vets operates multiple international field service projects throughout the year. Many of these projects have volunteer opportunities for veterinarians, veterinary technicians, students and assistants. All volunteer opportunities are open to any nationality.
The assistant category is open to anyone who loves animals and wants to help. Assistants often help in:
- The post operation recovery area
- Sterilizing surgical equipment
- A variety of miscellaneous duties (based on your skills, experience and comfort level)
