Volunteering with World Vets

World Vets offers many exciting volunteer opportunities for veterinarians, technicians and students (vet, pre-vet and tech) in addition to assistants with no prior veterinary experience. We currently have projects in 24 countries on 6 continents, all offering a unique experience. Whether you are a student seeking surgical experience, a veterinarian with a desire to provide your services abroad or simply an individual looking to travel with a purpose, you will have the time of your life on one of our trips!

Become a Member!

To sign up for a trip you must first have an active World Vets membership. If you are currently not a member or have yet to renew your membership, your status on a trip will remain "pending" until you have joined World Vets or renewed your membership. Membership is $40/year and renews annually; you can cancel your renewal at anytime. Membership not only allows you participate on our trips, it also provides crucial support for our international aid programs. Join Now!

To register for trips you must be 18 or older. In some cases individuals under the age of 18 may be able to participate, however a parental guardian must also register and accompany them on the trip. Sign Up!
